Executive Selection

In this era of rapidly changing organizational environments, executive selection is even more critical than it was in the past. It also seems to be getting more difficult to do as performance demands are affected by multiple forces. For instance, companies face a larger number of competitors and more diverse markets today, downsizing and flatter structures have weakened the bench strength of available executives and managerial span of control has increased .

This is probably why organizations are increasingly turning to outside sources to make their selection . And this is where ETA steps in as an indispensable partner to simplify their selection process. We define executive selection broadly as an entire process beginning with conducting an organizational needs assessment and defining job and candidate requirements, to candidate pools and the final decision-making process in candidate selection.

Our SELECTION process can be summarised in the 3 stages mentioned below:

Stage I: Company & Candidate Profile Definition

We conduct discussions with the Client in order to attain a full comprehension of the company business, candidate’s competencies and required experience. Based on the information that we get from the Client and our market expertise, we develop the Ideal Candidate Profile, a list of target companies and identify the tools for sourcing the profiles.

Stage II: Candidates Identification & Evaluation

We identify and approach potential candidates within targeted organizations, interview them and evaluate against the position requirements. We present the candidates’ profiles to the client. We share with ou r Client all the information that we obtained while evaluating the candidate, for instance, salary levels, reporting structure, notice period etc.

Stage III: Client Interviews, Selection of Finalist, Job Offer, Follow-up

We organize Client interviews with selected candidates. ETA conducts a reference check. We support our Client in the offer process for the final candidate and assist in negotiations. Within the guarantee period, we follow up with both the Client and the candidate, helping him/her to adapt to the new environment.
