Role As the Head of IT with a focus on spanning SAP implementation, your role is instrumental in harnessing the power of technology to drive operational excellence, mitigate risks, and capitalize on opportunities for growth and differentiation in a highly competitive industry Job Title Head of IT Infrastructure & Applications Job location Gurugram Qualification Essential : Desirable : Master’s/ Bachelor’s degree in Computers Application/ Information Technology Experience Minimum 15 years Industry Construction / Infrastructure Attributes / skills required SAP Implementation Cyber and Data Security Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cross- Functional Collaboration Continuous Improvement Leveraging Technology Operational Efficiency Innovation Responsibilities Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of SAP systems tailored to the specific needs of the organization Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements and ensure that SAP solutions meet the organization's business objectives Lead a team of SAP specialists or work with external consultants to customize SAP S4 HANA modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PS and PP to streamline processes like project management, procurement, resource planning, and finance Ensure smooth integration between SAP and other software systems used within the company's ecosystem Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard the organization's digital assets, including sensitive project data, financial information, and intellectual property Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry best practices to continuously enhance the organization's cyber defense mechanisms Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify susceptibilities and mitigate risks Explore opportunities to leverage AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics to optimize construction processes, improve decision-making, and drive innovation Identify areas within the construction lifecycle where AI can add value, such as predictive maintenance, resource optimization, safety monitoring, and risk management Collaborate with data scientists and AI specialists to develop and deploy AI-powered solutions tailored to the unique challenges and requirements related to live construction projects Ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards when collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data for AI applications Work closely with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide strategic guidance on implementing IT solutions that enhance productivity and project delivery Partner with procurement and vendor management teams to evaluate and select technology vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure quality service delivery and value for money Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the IT department, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and professional development among team members Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of IT initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize IT operations Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage
