Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DGM Finance to join our esteemed Jewellery Group. As the Director of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategies and operations of our company. Your expertise will drive financial decision-making, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the overall growth and success of our jewellery group.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, create financial forecasts, and analyze variances to ensure financial stability and growth.
• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
• Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of investment opportunities, evaluate ROI, and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
• Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and optimize tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
• Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, including GAAP and relevant industry standards.
• Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and external stakeholders such as auditors, bankers, and investors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience (X years) in a senior finance role, preferably in the jewellery or luxury goods industry.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
