AGM-Product Engineering Role Purpose: Product Development Leader Designation AGM Job Role AGM-Product Engineering Reporting To GM Location - Pune Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech Experience 16+ Yrs Leading product engineering of new products. Current product management. Preparing Engineering Brief, Leading technical reviews, Benchmarking, Design release, Budget management, supporting testing & validation. Responsible for engineering sign off for new products and current product design changes. Responsible for defining & leading the product strategy from concept through execution and beyond. Develop a technical roadmap for the product. Coordinate with Product marketing, Service, Test and Development, Purchasing, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing departments for development at various stages of Projects as required till the implementation. Able to work with program teams and meet the program deliverables in a global setup. Maintain the team size of 10, set directions, reviews, coach, and mentor the team. Support in removing bottlenecks. Able to solve technical problems & provide design solutions. Conduct design reviews & signoff component development. Develop a robust team with exposure to global innovations within required product line. Suggest improvements in design & development process. Align global counterparts to deliver desired results. Experience: Desired work experience of more than 18 Plus years in the relevant areas in Construction equipment design areas. Should have handled progressively increasing responsibilities in Product Engineering and Development role. Previous experience in Vehicle integration, design, product development. Required Skillset Proven record of assessing, planning, and implementing strategic engineering operations to improve overall performance and ensures competitive positioning. Direct or indirect involvement in bringing new Products / Construction equipment to market. Problem analysis and problem resolution skills, at both a strategic and functional level. Excellent management, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills -written, verbal and listening. Ability to build and lead an effective team. Ability to motivate others and drive for results. Experience with employee training and development. Excellent and proven leadership qualities Key Functional Competencies 1. Construction /Off-highway Equipment. 2. Experience in new product design & development. 3. Experience in current product management. 4. Knowledge of Construction Equipment 5. Knowledge of Vehicle integration. 6. Experience in leading design teams.
