Role Overview:

The role will provide strategic leadership, drive business growth, and ensure operational excellence while overseeing P&L management. Reporting to the Board, the person will be responsible for executing the company’s vision, expanding market presence, optimizing financial performance, and fostering key stakeholder relationships. The role requires a strong entrepreneurial mindset with expertise in managing joint ventures and scaling new business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall P&L management, ensuring sustainable profitability and long-term business growth.
• Formulates and executes strategic business plans aligned with the company’s objectives.
• Provides leadership and direction to business divisions, ensuring synergies to maximize operational efficiency and market positioning.
• Leads financial planning, budgeting, and investment decisions to optimize resource utilization and profitability.
• Drives business development initiatives, identifying new opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships.
• Ensures corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to Group policies.
• Establishes strong stakeholder relationships, engaging with shareholders, government bodies, and industry leaders.
• Develops a high-performance organization by fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Represents the company at industry forums and regulatory discussions, strengthening brand positioning and advocacy.
• Leads transformation initiatives, leveraging technology and operational efficiencies to enhance competitiveness.
• Manage joint ventures, align stakeholder interests, and ensure smooth collaboration between partners.
• Scale up venture operations, driving market penetration, financial stability, and operational growth

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven leadership experience in P&L management, business growth, and strategic execution.
• Strong financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, investment planning, and risk management.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, governance, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience in waste management, sustainability, renewable energy, or related industries preferred.
• Prior experience in managing venture companies, joint ventures, or scaling new business operations.
• MBA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification is desirable.
