Client : Uflex Limited/ Asepto) Location: Sanand, Gujrat www.uflexltd.com/ www.asepto.com ) The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of our aseptic packaging facility in Sanand, Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in managing large-scale production operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of aseptic processing and packaging technologies. Key Responsibilities: Production Management: - Oversee and manage the entire production process, from raw material handling to the final packaging of products. - Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. - Optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs. Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production managers, supervisors, and operators. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability within the production team. - Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities. Quality Assurance: - Ensure all production activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with the quality control department to implement and maintain rigorous quality assurance processes. - Address any quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Operational Excellence: - Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase overall productivity. - Utilize Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to drive process improvements. - Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management. Safety and Compliance: - Ensure the production facility operates in compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards. - Promote a culture of safety, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions. - Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and machinery to prevent accidents and breakdowns. Budget Management: - Manage the production budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation. - Prepare and monitor production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Stakeholder Collaboration: - Work closely with other departments including R&D, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless operations. - Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to align production with market demand and customer requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred. - Minimum of 20 years of experience in production management within the aseptic packaging or in flexible packaging, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical industry. - Proven track record of leading large-scale production operations and driving operational excellence. - In-depth knowledge of aseptic processing, packaging technologies, and industry regulations. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in production management software and tools. - Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
